Game Spotlight: Sonic CD

Sonic CD is often considered the weakest of the early 2D Sonic games, favouring a slower, more methodical approach than the speed of Sonic 1–3. I chose to cover it as my first game because, unlike most reviews I've watched, I actually prefer this version of Sonic. As I grow older and my reaction time isn't what it used to be, that slower pacing suits me. Plus, I can't deny I have a soft spot for '90s FMV intros that still get me pumped for the game.

Perhaps Sonic Team just enjoy making divisive games sometimes. I'm thinking of Knuckles' Chaotix.
